Morrnah brought her modernized form of ho’oponopono around the globe, presenting courses at many schools and public forums, including the United Nations, Johns Hopkins University and the University of Hawai’i. In 1983 she was honored as a Living Treasure of Hawai'i by the Honpa Hongwanji Mission of Hawai'i, and was eulogized in the congressional record in 1992 following her death.
